Automation

Let Tona automatically create and publish content for your connected platforms.

Automation

Automation lets Tona take the wheel. When enabled, Tona's AI will automatically generate and publish content to your selected platforms on a daily basis, without you having to create instructions manually.

Automation is available on Pro and Elite plans.

Turning On Automation

  1. Go to your project's Settings and click the Automation tab.
  2. Toggle the automation switch to on.
  3. Select which platform accounts you want Tona to automate.
  4. Set your daily limit to control how many posts the AI creates per day.
  5. Click Save Changes.

Once saved, Tona will start creating and publishing content automatically based on your project's persona, knowledge base, and memory.

Choosing Platforms

You can pick and choose which connected publishing accounts are included in automation. For example, you might want Tona to automate your Twitter and LinkedIn accounts but handle Telegram manually.

Only publishing platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Telegram, and Discord) can be automated.

Daily Limit

The daily limit controls the maximum number of posts the AI will create each day across all automated accounts. You can set this anywhere from 1 to 10 posts per day. Start low and increase as you get comfortable with the output.

Tips

  • Review your persona settings first. Automation uses your project's objective and personality to guide content, so make sure those are set up well before turning it on.
  • Start with a low daily limit. Begin with 1 or 2 posts per day and adjust once you see the quality of the output.
  • Combine with Review. If you want to approve content before it goes live, enable the Review setting so automated posts land in your Review Queue first.
