Knowledge Base
The Knowledge Base is where you store information the AI can draw from when creating content. By adding details about your brand, products, and industry, you help the AI write posts that are accurate, relevant, and true to your brand.
Adding Entries
Click Add Entry to create a new item. Each entry needs a title and content, and there are two ways to add information.
Paste Text
Type or paste information directly. This works great for things like:
- Product descriptions
- Company history or mission statements
- Frequently asked questions
- Brand guidelines and messaging rules
Import from a URL
Provide a link and Tona will pull in the page content for you. Use this to quickly add existing blog posts, help articles, or any public webpage.
What to Add
The more relevant information you provide, the better your AI-generated content will be. Here are some ideas:
- Product details so the AI can accurately describe what you offer
- Company background to keep messaging consistent
- FAQs so the AI can handle common questions naturally
- Brand guidelines to ensure the right tone and terminology
Managing Entries
Your entries appear as cards, each showing the title and a preview. From any card, you can:
- Preview the full content
- Edit the title or content to keep things current
- Delete entries that are no longer relevant
Tips
- Keep each entry focused on a single topic for the best results.
- Update entries whenever your products, messaging, or brand details change.
- Use URL import to quickly bring in content you have already written.
- Concise, well-organized entries work better than long, unfocused ones.
