Execution History
A complete log of everything Tona has published or attempted to publish.
Execution History
Execution History is your full record of every post Tona has published or tried to publish. Use it to track results, spot issues, and keep tabs on your publishing activity.
History Tabs
The History page is organized into three tabs:
- Actions - Browse all individual actions (posts, messages) across platforms. Filter by platform, account, or status. Each action can be expanded to see full content and media previews.
- Automation Logs - View plan agent execution summaries. See what the AI decided, which instructions it created, and whether each run succeeded or encountered errors.
- Instructions - Review all instructions with filtering by strategy (immediate, scheduled, repeated) and source (plan, manual, API). Track scheduling details and execution history.
Browsing Your History
All executions are listed in a table, starting with the most recent. Each entry shows its status, how it was triggered, the number of platforms it targeted, and when it ran.
Click any entry to expand it and see the individual results for each platform, including media previews with image and video support.
Filtering
Use the dropdown filters above the table to narrow things down:
By Status
- Processing - Currently running.
- Success - Published without any issues.
- Failed - Something went wrong.
- Cancelled - The action was cancelled before completion.
- Skipped - The action was skipped during execution.
By Trigger Type
- Scheduled - Triggered automatically by a schedule.
- Manual - Triggered by you from the instruction form.
Expanded Details
When you expand an entry, you can see exactly what happened on each platform: the generated content, any attached media, and whether it succeeded or failed.
Troubleshooting Failed Posts
If a post did not go through, expand the entry and check the error details. Here are the most common issues and how to fix them:
- Expired platform connection - Your social media account needs to be reconnected. Head to your project settings and reconnect the platform.
- Rate limits - The platform temporarily blocked posting because of too many requests. Wait a little while and try again.
- Content policy violation - The platform rejected the content. Edit the prompt in your instruction and resubmit.
